Golmaal Returns – The Storyline With the same cast, this one is quite different from the first part. Gopal is married and lives with his wife Ekta, who is obsessed with Indian soap operas. His sister Esha and Ekta’s mute brother Lucky also live with them.
One night, while returning from the office, Gopal saves an attractive young woman from some goons, and because of bad weather, they have to spend the night on his friend’s yacht. When he returns home the next morning, his wife being over suspicious of him because of all of his flirting with his female employees and also having an affair with her secretary; he asks several questions and doubts if he is somewhere with a woman only.
Knowing how difficult it would be to convince Ekta about what actually happened, he makes up a story and says that he was out with a friend named Anthony Gonsalves. Ekta, still not convinced by what Gopal said, writes a letter to Anthony, and the letter reaches the real Anthony Gonsalves.
Gopal also hires someone to be Anthony and talks to his wife, convincing all that Gopal says is true. Now what’s there to see is how they are going to convince Ekta and what happens when the real Anthony gets the letter.
