Freddy and Kriti Sanon, last seen in Bhediya. The movie was released worldwide on 01 March 2019 and was a commercial success at the box office with a total earning of Rs.128.6 Crore against its budget of Rs.25-34 Crore. The film is set to have a sequel soon, as its production was previously hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, ‘Luka Chuppi’ is now available on its OTT platform for streaming.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Luka Chuppi’
The movie starts in the small town of Mathura, where a local politician starts a campaign to ban live-in relationships.
Meanwhile, his daughter Rashmi (Kriti Sanon) starts her internship at a local news channel, where she meets the channel’s star reporter Guddu (Kartik Aaryan).
During their time together, Guddu and Rashmi fall in love, and Guddu decides to take their relationship forward by proposing to her. But Rashmi hesitates and in turn, proposes a plan to figure out her mind to Guddu. She suggests a live-in relationship without letting their families know, but Guddu refuses to live with her before marriage.
Upon his friend’s encouragement, Guddu and Rashmi decide to live together during their business trip to Gwalior. They reach their rented apartment in Gwalior and act like a married couple in front of their neighbors. Everything was going well until one-day, Guddu’s entire family showed up at the doorstep of their apartment.
