A 2021 war film by Bhushan Kumar portrays what actually happened in the Indo-Pakistani war in 1971 with an impactful act from Ajay Devgn in the lead role along with Sanjay Dutt, who was last seen in some amazing movies like KGF: Chapter 2 and Shamshera . The movie is about the Indian Air Force squadron leader in charge of the Bhuj Air Force.
The film shows how with the help of 300 local women, they reconstructed the damaged landing strip in 72 hours. Well, this is unbeatable I believe. And not just that, the movie also borrowed its plot from a famous Hollywood movie named, Pearl Harbor.
Bhuj: The Pride of India – The Storyline The film starts with the Bhuj premise being destroyed at the beginning of the Indo-Pakistani war. This led to cutting off the reinterments from mainland India. Now a small group of Indian Army soldiers defends Bhuj from being overrun. On the other hand, 300 local women helped the base commander reconstruct the airbase under enemy fire.
The movie also shows how the Prime Minister of Pakistan discusses conquering Indian territories while his wife is shown to be a RAW spy who’s there to take revenge for her brother’s death. Her brother was caught by the Pakistani army and was brutally murdered by them.
