Chandramukhi- The Storyline Chandramukhi is a classic love tale of Daulat Deshmane (Adinath Kothare) and Chandramukhi (Amruta Khanvilkar) herself. The story portrays Daulat who is a virtuous politician and happily married to his wife Damyanti Daulatrao Deshmane (Mrunmayee Deshpande) until that one day when his life changes forever.
Daulat visits a famous courtesan’s door but has no will to stay there. He is about to leave when he hears ghungroo and out of curiosity starts to follow the sound. There he sees Chandramukhi and within a glance, they fall in love with each other.
It is at this moment that their lives take up a major turn. And from that moment Daulat still remains to be a virtuous politician but is no longer “happily” married to his wife.
