The upcoming Hindi trilogy Brahmāstra has been the talk of the town for all good reasons. Even the initial impression of the movie has made the movie buffs go weak in their knees. Recently, The Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has announced the first part of the trilogy and masterwork ‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva’, to be part of the global theatrical release timeline. This movie is going to be the first of its kind as no other Indian movie has yet made it to this list. The movie features the best-of-class star cast namely Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It is all set to hit the theaters on 9th September!
Apoorva Mehta, the CEO of Dharma Productions, said something about the film. “We are very confident of the film. We spent a lot of time making it. I think Fox and Disney are very strongly involved with us at every level. I mean, they are driving this film. There are big plans about how we want to release this film.”
He further added “There’s a lot of stuff that is under production, and it is going to be coming continuously through the year as we near the release,” he had said.
The storyline of ‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva’
The fiction is set in contemporary India where Brahmansh were assigned to protect the astras (weapons) that were crafted by ancient Indians, thousand and millions of years back. But, one Brahmastra is provoked to ruin the universe. But to prevent this damage and chaos, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) is introduced with the powers he is born with. The encounter with his powers leaves him amazed and then he channelizes his inner strength and abilities to safeguard the earth from an uncalled hazard.
This fantasy fiction is going to be a big thing for Bollywood as well as the entire nation and people across the globe are looking forward to its release. The movie is a trilogy, which means a series of three episodes, and the second and third parts of which are going to be released in 2024 and 2026.
