The Bollywood star not only played the lead but also tried his hand in the direction through this film. Yesterday, the Swatantrya Veer Savarkar movie trailer was made public and garnered positive reviews from the netizens.
Randeep Hooda played the role of the unhonored hero Vinayak Damodar Savarkar who brought the revolution and contributed immensely to India’s struggle for Independence. The film claims to be more than just a biographical movie and showcases the unheard story of the leader Vinayak Damodar who contradicts the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi.

Randeep Hooda took his ‘X’ (formerly called Twiter) account and shared the Swatantrya Veer Savarkar trailer with the nation. He wrote, “The British Termed Him The Most Dangerous Man! Indian Revolutionaries Revered Him as “Veer”! Yet, he was Unsung, Unhonoured, Unacknowledged & Unheard! This 22nd March IN CINEMAS, HISTORY WILL BE REWRITTEN! Witness the Epic life of #SwantatryaVeerSavarkar & the Untold Saga of the Indian Armed Revolution.”
The breathtaking trailer starts with the voiceover of Randeep Hooda “Hum sabne padha hai ki BHARAT ko aazadi ahinsa se mili hai lekin yeh voh kahaani nahi hai (We have all read that India attained freedom through non-violence, but this is not that story)” and ends with the question #who killed his story?
