Raanjhanaa – The Storyline The movie revolves around Kundan, who is a Ramil Brahmin living in Varanasi, and Zoya, a Muslim girl there. Kundan sees Zoya in his very childhood and immediately falls in love with her. From that day, he has been chasing her to at least get a response from her that will make his day.
In their teenage years, they become good friends as Zoya is attracted to his childlike behavior, and Kundan is willing to do anything for her. However, Zoya tells him that they can never work this out as they belong to different cultures, but someone from her family sees her and sends her to another town for further studies and college. After a few years, when Zoya returns, she finds out that Kundan is still in love with her and hasn’t moved past it, while she already has a boyfriend at her college. This leads to Kundan taking some weird steps and decisions that he regrets later, but by that time, it’s too late.
