‘Ragini MMS’ is an Indian Hindi-language horror film released in 2011. The movie was directed by Pawan Kripalani and produced by Ekta Kapoor , Shobha Kapoor , Amit Kapoor, and Sidhartha M. Jain. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala, playing the role of a couple.
The film is inspired by an American supernatural horror film called Paranormal Activity, but it is also rumored that a part of the plot was a real-life story of a girl named Deepika. ‘Ragini MMS’ has grossed ₹90 Million at the end of its second week.
Additionally, this film also has a sequel to it called ‘Ragini MMS 2’, which was released on 21 March 2014.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Ragini MMS’ The film starts with Uday (Rajkummar Rao , last seen in Bhediya ) picking his girlfriend Ragini (Kainaz Motivala ) up from her house in the guise of a romantic getaway. While Uday had said that he was driving them to his house, Ragini was unaware of any details except that, choosing to trust her boyfriend.
But what she didn’t know was that Uday was involved in making and selling sex tapes, and his next victim just happened to be the oblivious Ragini. After driving around for the whole day, Uday finally stops at a mysterious abandoned place and declares it to be his residence. Uday’s plan had been going smoothly until Ragini’s friend Pia (Janice) and her boyfriend arrived at his doorstep.
