A boy with two billionaire parents living in Australia falls in love with a girl living with her brother in a small village in Punjab. He is stuck trying to please her brother by completely leaving his lifestyle and living with her in her town.
The movie ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ directed by Prabhu Deva, is a romantic comedy-drama film. The film is a remake of Prabhu Deva’s directorial debut film, named ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’. ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ has an IMDb rating of 5.7/10 and stars Girish Kumar, Shruti Haasan (we have seen her in Gabbar is Back ), and Sonu Sood.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ The film revolves around two characters, Ram Kapoor (Girish Kumar), who is a rich boy living lavishly in Australia, thanks to his billionaire parents, and Sona Singh (Shruti Haasan), a shy and simple girl, living with her brother in Punjab. The two have completely different lives, and their worlds collide with each other when Sona’s best friend, Rhea (Anchal Singh), invites Sona to her house to attend her marriage functions.
The day Sona arrives at Rhea’s house is also the day Ram, Rhea’s cousin, arrives at her house with his mother. Ram takes a liking to Sona and continues to tease her throughout the marriage functions. Through their fighting and teasing, Ram and Sona fall in love with each other. Blissfully in love, both main leads are unaware of the unwillingness of Ram’s mother and Sona’s brother to accept their relationship, which turns out to be a big obstacle for them.
