Karan Johar and Starkid is a better love story than Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan. The love of Karan Johar for new star kids is an open secret, and the Student of the year franchise is a prime example. In 2012’s “Student of the year ” Karan launched Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra; the movie got praise from the audience. But we cannot say this for the Student of the year 2, released in 2019, starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria. This 2-hour, 25-minute movie is stuffed with action masala, weird dance and over-the-top acting. But if you only care for entertainment, this movie can be a good time pass.
Storyline of Student of the Year 2 Movie Rohan Sehgal (Tiger Shroff), a small village boy, falls in love with his childhood sweetheart Mridula (Tara Sutaria) and is admitted to the city’s top college. But it leaves him heartbroken and getting into a cutthroat competition between friends and foes. The 29th Annual Inter College Competition is being organized at St. Teresa Inter College, Dehradun.
All the students want to participate and win the Student of the Year title. Then another girl from the college (Ananya Pandey) gives her heart to Rohan. Due to this, Mridula gets angry. Meanwhile, another popular college boy Manav starts getting annoyed with Rohan; he fights with Rohan and even comes to expel Rohan from the college.
But Rohan works hard for the competition. Will he be able to become the student of the year? You will have to watch the full movie and get to know who among the two girls Rohan makes as his friend.
