A genius man leaves his job to teach poor students freely as he believes quality education is a right of all.
Hrithik Roshan, Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, starrer movie Super 30 is the real-life story of Anand Kumar, a genius mathematician who is on a mission to prove that someone’s financial condition doesn’t define their capabilities in life, a poor student can also go on to become a genius if he is given the right guidance. It is a story that is worth telling in mainstream Bollywood so that it can reach the masses. It is a story of hard work, faith, and how if one is determined enough, he can overcome every obstacle in their way.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Super 30’ Super 30 commences as a flashback to Anand’s childhood; he is an intelligent and hardworking student. Anand solves an extremely difficult maths question that hasn’t been solved by anyone yet; he posts his solution to the University of Cambridge. Professor Richard from the same university invites Anand to join a program at the University.
Anand and his family are elated, but their happiness is short-lived as they realize their financial condition. They go to the doorsteps of a politician, Shriram. Apparently, Shriram had promised Anand that he would be there for him if the need arose while felicitating him on stage. Nonetheless, Shriram denies any such promise being made by him.
As fate had it, Anand’s father died of a heart attack the same night. Anand drops his plans to go to Cambridge and starts earning by selling papads for his family. Anand’s life is moving forward in poverty when one fine day, he meets Lallan, who runs the ‘Excellence Coaching Centre’; Lallan hires Anand in his coaching center as an educator. Soon, Anand’s life begins to get better financially and his teaching style is also appreciated by students.
But, when Anand notices that one boy has to leave the classes midway because he was unable to pay the fees, he decides to leave the organization. He started his own coaching institute, ‘Super 30,’ free of cost for the students, with the belief that every student, irrespective of the fact whether they are rich or poor, has the right to quality education. In his ‘Super 30’, Anand enrolled 30 students and began prepping them for the IIT-JEE exam in an interesting and easy manner.
However, Lallan and Shriram were pissed by the growing popularity of Anand’s ‘Super 30’ and the sympathy that he was getting from the villagers. In an effort to stop Anand, a competition is organized in the village between the students of both the coaching centers and whichever institute’s students score lesser marks will be shut down.
Contrary to popular belief, the Super 30 students lost. Supriya, Anand’s love interest, and her husband Purshottam, an IAS officer, were invited by Lallan to present the papers. However, to everyone’s shock, those papers couldn’t be found, and it was revealed that Supriya hid them as her silent support of Anand’s noble cause.
Lallan and Shriram’s unsuccessful first attempt aggravates them to go as far as trying to kill Anand and his 30 students to prevent them from appearing for IIT-JEE. The students somehow escape by practically applying what was taught to them by Anand. Anand is hospitalized. The movie comes to an end with all 30 of Anand’s students cracking the exam successfully.
