Torbaaz is a Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Girish Malik that was released in 2020. Sanjay Dutt plays a medical practitioner who loses his wife and son while working at the Indian Embassy in Kabul, and Nargis Fakhri and Rahul Dev play other notable characters. Torbaaz was once slated for a theatrical release, but was cancelled because of the COVID-19 epidemic, following which the filmmakers confirmed a Netflix distribution deal. It aired on Netflix on December 11, 2020.
Torbaaz: Storyline Sanjay Dutt plays Naseer, an ex-army doctor who is shown visiting an Afghan refugee camp. While Naseer is there, he recalls how a suicide attack took the lives of his wife and young son. Naseer collaborates with Ayesha (Nargis Fakhri) to operate his late wife’s NGO. Naseer uses cricket to try to provide joy to the children. He seeks to form a group of Afghan war victims who are displaced boys. Through cricket, Naseer tries to convince the guys to work together and put their differences aside. Qazar (Rahul Dev), who wants to employ the boys to train them as soldiers and suicide bombers, confronts Naseer.
