Vikram Vedha, you may have already heard this name quite a lot by now as a new movie of the same name is coming very soon, starring the sensational Hrithik Roshan and the bold Saif Ali Khan. But do you know that it is a remake of a Tamil movie of the same name only? Well, if you didn’t, you do now.
You read that right, the upcoming Bollywood movie is a remake of the Tollywood movie. The movie was released in 2017, starring the director, producer, and the lead hero of the famous movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect , R. Madhavan. Vikram Vedha- The Storyline The movie revolves around the two characters named Vikram and Vedha, Vikram is an honest police officer who has a clear sense of good and evil. While Vedha on the contrary is a dreadful and dangerous gangster, who only listens to himself.
What happens in the movie is that the police squad somehow kills one of Vedha’s henchmen and Vikram quite unintentionally kills an unarmed criminal to avoid further investigation. Vedha comes to the police station by himself and voluntarily surrenders. When Vikram starts to interrogate Vedha, he offers to tell him a story. The story is about how Vedha became a drug smuggler, who warns his younger brother named Pulli to stay away from this business but he is somehow dragged into it by a rival gangster Ravi. So when Pulli is arrested by the police, he tells them everything, and Ravi is arrested.
When released, Ravi and Sangu assault Pulli leaving a permanent scar on his hand. Now Vedha asks Vikram if he should kill Ravi or Sangu. After knowing all this, Vikram realizes that the unarmed criminal he killed was Pulli, Vedha’s younger brother.
Vikram now understands one thing that Vedha is coming for them after getting his younger brother murdered. Now what’s there to see is how Vedha is going to take revenge on his brother’s murder. Is he even going to be successful in it or not? Well, there’s actually a lot to see as the movie is filled with twists and turns.
