The most anticipated movie, “Adipurush,” helmed by Om Raut, who gifted the blockbuster “Tanhaji ” starring Ajay Devgn and Kajol Devgan to Bollywood,

The idea of this movie is taken from the anime film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, which was released in 1993 and co-produced by Japan and India.

The Storyline of the Movie Adipurush This magnum opus is based on the life of Lord Shri Ram, who traveled to Lanka with the help of his devotee Hanuman , brother Lakshman and other companions to save his wife Sita from Ravana, who abducted her in his absence. In this movie, there is a little change in the names of the lead characters; Ram is called Raghava, Sita is Janaki, and Ravana is Lankesh. But the rest of the things are the same.

Release Date of the Movie Adipurush The makers of Adipurush completed the shoot of their movie in just 103 days and officially shared this good news on social media. It was first decided to release this movie on 11 August 2022, but due to the release of Amir Khan’s much-hyped movie Laal Singh Chaddha on the same day, the makers pushed back the release to 12 January 2023.
But the makers postponed the movie again to avoid a clash with the Telugu films Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy as they didn’t want to affect their box-office collection. Additionally, they needed some time to work on their VFX after facing so much criticism and getting negative comments on the movie’s teaser.
After getting over all this drama, the makers and star cast of the movie have now officially announced the new release date, 16 June 2023. Therefore, this summer in June, you will experience the Indian epic Ramayana in 3D through the vision of Om Raut.
Teaser of the Movie Adipurush The Adipurush’s makers arranged a huge teaser launch ceremony about four months ago and launched the teaser in Lord Ram’s birthplace, Ayodhya. Apart from there, it was also launched on the official youtube channel of T-Series. This 1-minute and 46-second-long teaser has got 103 million views and 1.7 million likes on youtube.
The makers were expecting applause from the audience, but it faced so much criticism just after the launch. People made fun of the unsatisfactory VFX and jerry-built characters. After getting negative reviews, the makers postponed the movie to improve the VFX and fulfill the audience’s expectations.

OTT Platform to Watch the Movie Adipurush As we all know, OTT platforms, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+Hotstar, and more have gained so much popularity after covid. Nowadays, most people prefer to watch movies at their homes without visiting the theatre and start to search the newly released movies on these platforms.
