The Storyline of The Movie Albela
Sonia lost her mother when she was very young. Her father and she live in Austria, and on the trip from Austria to Singapore, her connecting flight was from Mumbai, where she requested her nanny that she want to see her mother’s grave and her birthplace. She let her live in Malaga, her birthplace, where she met Tony as their guide to help them to find their mother’s grave.
Tony falls for Sonia on the trip without knowing that his friend Neena is already in love with her. when they were traveling, she saw a man standing, and he was Prem, who is a reporter and the man she is in love with. She met Prem in Austria, and after an interview with her father, they started spending time and falling for each other they decided to get married however, her father didn’t agree because her father hates India and Indians as her mother left him. Both separated, but after she saw him in Malaga, she was shocked. She later comes to know that Prem and Toney are good friends. She asked Tony to arrange lunch with him.
When she met Prem, she apologized for what happened earlier. However, she was still in love with him and wanted to marry him, to which he replied negatively and asked to focus on the future. Tony was confused. However, Sonia wanted to meet Prem. Sonia and Prem were spending time together, and she realized that her happiness was only with Prem. However, Tony is confused that Sonia is in love with him. She tried to tell him that Neema loved him, but there was a huge confusion. Later his father flies to Malaga and finds that still, Prem and Sonia are meeting.
He wants to take Sonia with him back as he is angry, and she offers Tony to come with her. But in the end, Tony comes to know about Neema’s feelings and sacrifices Sonia for her. Later Sonia also told her father that she loves Prem. However, his father says every Indian is like her mother this is when Sonia gave him a letter from her mother in which it was written that she was suffering from a contagious disease and didn’t want both of them to suffer too. After this, his father allows her to be with Prem. And Tony always misunderstands that she left a princess for an ordinary girl.
