Anupama Plot Let’s first talk about the show that has quickly won the hearts of millions since its release in 2020. Anupama follows the story of a Gujrat homemaker, Anupama, who is a devoted wife, mother, and daughter-in-law. She has a family-oriented and self-sacrificing nature, yet her husband, Vanraj, doesn’t appreciate her and even goes ahead to have an extramarital affair with his colleague, Kavya Gandhi.
On her 25th wedding anniversary, Anupama stumbles upon her husband and Kavya having an intimate moment. This breaks her heart and leaves her devastated, so she decides to live her life on her terms. Later, Paritosh, Anupama’s elder son, marries Kinjal, while Samara and Nandini get engaged.
In later episodes, Anupama asks Vanraj for a divorce, but he isn’t happy with her decision and fears losing Anupama. Furthermore, he even goes missing on his wedding day with Kavya, only to be confronted by Anupama, who then calls him out for his lack of courage and commitment.
