The Storyline of the Bollywood Movie Apne
Apne is a movie about Boxing champions, in which Baldev Singh(Dharmendra) was blamed for taking drugs before the match however all the accused were false but at that time Baldev Singh was unable to prove it. So, just to prove himself, he trained his son Angad (Sunny Deol) for years but the financial condition was standing in their path because of this their relationship also suffered.
Baldev Singh’s younger son Karan(Bobby Deol) was an inspiring soul and musician with a paralyzed arm. He was just to launch his first album when his father was training a local boy to get into a Boxing TV show but at the last minute, the boy left for a better trainer. Baldev Singh was broken and almost left his hope to prove himself when his son Karan said he would do it for him, who just overcame his paralysis during the emotional moment.
Karan took training and won all the championship fights, but before the final fight, he was tricked by the opponent; Karan was rushed to the hospital and was fighting for his life now. When Angad learned that the opponent cheated, he decided to fight. Although he was severely injured during the fight, somehow, he won the championship. Whereas Karan was suffering from Liver damage but surprisingly got a liver from an unknown donor.
