Storyline of Death Note The plot of Death Note is about a high school student, Light Yagami, a teen genius, who is the son of a reputed detective. The anime centers on his obsession with a mysterious book that he discovers on the campus of his school. This notebook, which belongs to Shinigami Ryuk, is pretty powerful, as it kills anyone whose name is written on it as long as the face and name of the target are known by the owner.
The story follows Light’s idea of becoming Kira and wiping off all the criminals who do wrongdoings and threaten the peace. Later, a detective named L joins the investigation, and the story of the mouse and cat’s chase begins.
