Introduction – High School DxD High School DxD is a Japanese Light Novel series written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero. The story is about Issei Hyodo, a high school student at Kuoh Academy. The first volume was released in September, 2008 and around 20 volumes were released by 2018. High School DxD Season 1 was aired on 6th January, 2012. Then, High School DxD New was released in July, 2013, High School DxD BorN was released in April, 2015 and High school DxD Hero was released in April, 2018.
Seasons Story Overview Kuoh Academy, an all girls school turned into a coed school recently. The main secret is that angels, fallen angels and devils are also a part of that school but humans don’t know this. One of these students Issei Hyodo is a salacious second year student who is a human only. On an ordinary school day a girl named Yuma Amano asked Issei Hyodo on a date. After their date, they both went to a local park where Yuma requests Issei to die for her. She confronts herself as a fallen angel, Raynare and tries to kill him.
Furthermore, a third year pneumatic student Rias Gremory revives him. Next morning, Issei thinks that everything was just a dream. But after that he notices Rias naked in her room. Rias Gremory reveals her real identity as a demon to Issei and tells him that she reincarnated him as a devil and wants him to become her faithful servant.
High School DxD Season 1 Plot
Issei Hydo was killed by the girl he went on date with. After that Rias Gremory revives him and tells him to be her servant. Boom! All the members of the Occult Research Club are devils including Issei. Then, Issei meets Asia Argento and learns about chess. At the end of Season 1, Issei and Asia become a part of Special Training Camp with other members to get ready for “Rating Game .”
High School DxD Season 2 Plot
Rias and Asia live in the house of Issei Hydo. Issei and Kiba fight with Xenovia and Irina but after that Issei and others team up to fight with freed but other dangerous enemy appears in front of them. Furthermore, the Kuoh academy students fight with Kokabiel and get to know about some harsh truths.
High School DxD Season 3 Plot
Issei has to accompany Rias in summer break for her visit back to the underworld. Moreover, Issei and others train themselves to improve their skills but after that Kuneko’s sister Kuroko appears to take away her sister. At the end, they all defeat Loki and come back to the real world. Issei goes on a date with Akeno, Akeno throws herself at Issei to forget her past. Issei and others prepare for “Rating Game”.
High School DxD Season 4 Plot

The first half of the book is based on the 9th book of the Light novel series. Season 4 was produced by Passione. In the beginning of season 4, Issei prepares for his school trip to Kyoto, but before leaving he has some stuff to do.
Issei and others reach Kyoto and start their training. Furthermore, they meet a mysterious nine tailed fox girl, named Kunou. She pleads to Issei to save her mother. The anime gets serious here. After that Issei and others meet Cao Cao at Nijo castle and find Kunou’s mother there.
The second half of the anime covers the 10th Book of Light Novel Series. They began the ‘Rating Game’ in the second half of the season but before that Issei felt weird about Rias behaviour. Everyone in the Gremory household risks their life for Rias victory. By the end of the season Issei himself challenges Sairarog and things get very serious between them.
Season 4 also had some romance as Issei and Rias shared their first kiss.
High School Dxd Season 5 Plot
As the previous season was taken from volume 9th and 10th. So, according to the pattern it is expected that Season 5 will probably be from 11th and 12th volume.
In Season 5, there are many problems which Issei is going to face. The new season is expected to start with the Middle class promotion test. This test pairs with the order used to rank a Devil’s strength and would place Issei just above low-class if he passes the test. On the other hand, Koneko has come to know that Issei and Rias are coming closer. So, Issei has to be more careful around her.
In Season 5, Issei won’t be a servant of Rias anymore and also he has to figure out his relationship with Rias.
High School DxD Season 5 trailer has not been released yet. So, according to some analysis the next season can follow this storyline. Rest let’s wait for the official trailer then. And it is 100 percent sure that Season 5 will have romance in it because the last season ended with Issie and Rias kiss.
