The movie is a remake of the 2005 South movie Chatrapathi, in which a separated son struggles to reunite with his mother.
We all know Nushrratt Bharuccha for her negative role in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety , a drop-dead hot Bollywood actress who has also appeared in the movie Dream Girl and has given a blockbuster performance in her latest Akelli movie . Recently, she shared a screen with a popular South Indian actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas, in the Chatrapathi movie .
This movie is directed by V.V. Vinayak and its story is helmed by Vijayendra Prasad, a writer of the Oscar winner movie RRR . The production of the Chatrapathi movie is handled by Jayantilal Gada, Dhaval Gada, and Akshay Gada, under the banner of Pen India Limited.

The Storyline of the Movie Chatrapathi Shiva lives with his stepmother and stepbrother Ashok. Although he is an adopted child, his mother gives him the same affection and love as she gives to Ashok. However, Ashok hates him as he’s not his mother’s biological child. One day, their entire basti catches fire, and everyone rushes to rescue themselves. Ashok and his mother get out of the fire and when she asks about Shiva, Ashok lies that the fire caught him and he is no more.
His mother is shattered by this news while on the other side Shiva, who is not dead, reaches Gujarat along with his separated neighbours. He is forced to work as a laborer for the goons of that area. Twelve years pass, and now Shiva has turned into the savior of the village he lives in. He protects them from the local dons and the villagers address him Chatrapathi.
However, he didn’t lose hope of uniting again with his stepmother and still looking for her along with his love interest named Sapna. Will he be successful in finding his mother?
