It is the first chapter of the franchise and followed by K.G.F Chapter 2. Yash featured as Rocky: the main lead of the movie, where Srinidhi Shetty played the role of the female lead. With a budget of 80 crores, it was the most expensive Kannada film of all time.

The Storyline of K.G.F Chapter 1

The story of KGF Chapter 1 is set between the duration of 1951 and 1981. The journalist Ananth Nag, recites the story to Deepa played by Malavika Avinash. He narrates the story of the life of Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka Raja aka Rocky’s (Yash), who is willing to conquer the world by ruling the land of gold and gangsters called Kolar Gold Field aka KGF.

The plot is set in Mumbai and then moves to Bengaluru, the state of KGF. Raja does everything for her mother who died when he was too young to understand this evil world, she told “I don’t know how you will lead your life, but when you die, I want you to be the most powerful and rich man on earth.” And thus, KGF is all about the connection between the mother and the son.

Later, we can see a glimpse of Rocky as a gangster, who manages to show it all as a one-man army- living with all greed and ambitions, still, has humanity buried in the corner of his heart. As the story is divided into two parts the pace is slow and intriguing and keeps viewers stuck in their seats.

Yash then enters into the fields of KGF and starts winning the hearts of suppressed people who are living in hell as laborers who are treated worse than animals. Yash sparks hope in their heart and eventually kills Garuda, turning those weak people into an army that is ready to die for their leader Rocky.
