The show begins with the introduction of Nandini, a bubbly and cute girl all set to move to Mumbai to live with her chacha and chachi, and goes on to introduce every character one after the other.
The main pair, Nandini and Manik (Parth Sammthaan), have a love-hate relationship with each other, but soon these fights blossom into an attraction for one another. On the other hand, the show goes on to explore the complex relationships of friends with one another and what happens when two friends fall in love.
Another dimension of the story is Manik’s relationship with his mother. Manik hates his mother, so to say, which greatly affects the foundation of FAB 5 and Manik and Nandini’s relationship.
When Niyonika (Kishwer Merchant seen in Dear Ishq Season 1 ), Manik’s mother, learns of his relationship with Nandini, she moves heaven and earth to cause misunderstandings between the two but somehow they find their way back to each other every time.
