A historical drama film with a twist that no one could ever imagine!
A Hindi period drama film that I might not have gained as much appreciation as it should but certainly was a good one to watch. You might know this one from the famous title track of it by the same name; Kalank.
Here’s everything you should know about the movie, and where you can watch and download the same in premium quality. Plus, even though the film didn’t get good ratings, it somehow managed to earn more than enough of its budget.
Kalank – The Storyline Satya, Sonakshi Sinha, last seen in Double XL is told by the doctor that she is suffering from Cancer and she doesn’t have much time left. Since she and husband are both very young, she doesn’t want her husband to be left alone when she’s gone.
She goes back to her native village and asks her childhood friend Roop, Alia Bhatt, last seen in Brahmastra: Part 1 to marry her husband. Roop, having two other sisters, agrees to marry her husband since Satya grants her a very fair deal to secure the future of her sisters and family. After their marriage, Satya passes away, Dev tells Roop that he still loves Satya and can never love anyone else.
Depressed Roop finds her solace in music and dance. She then decides to explore more about the locality to write about it where she meets Zafar who wants to take revenge on Roop’s father-in-law who abandoned Zafar and his mother after his extramarital affair with her. Roop, unaware of this family relations, develops an interest in Zafar and Zafar reciprocates the same.
