Lekh is a movie about two young kids who fall in love during school time. Rajvir and Ronak are played by Gurnam Bhullar and Tania respectively. The whole story recites the series of sorrow, pain, love, memory, nostalgia, gestures, and pleasure. How they separate and meet again to learn the truth about each other, is what the story revolves around. The charismatic songs of this movie are the biggest USP.
Story of The Movie Lekh The story begins with the introduction of grown-up Ronak (Tania) and her past-life lover Rajveer (Gurnam Bhullar) through a series of flashback scenes. Rajveer, the student of class 11, Rajveer once had a glimpse of Raunak dancing and couldn’t look anywhere else. He then got smitten with her and then started finding excuses to see her, talk to her, and know her. He then becomes oblivious to his surroundings and all he can think about is Ronak. They then form a friendship and start falling in love, until one day aunt of Rajvir, counsels him to make a career and then marry the girl of his choice, afterward when Rajveer disappears and Ronak is left with no choice but to move on with her life.
Coming to the second half, the audience is introduced to the present time’s Rajveer and Ronak. Where they find out what happened and what was the reason behind Rajveer’s disappearance. But, Rajveer didn’t move this entire time and life in a way where everything revolves around Ronak and her memories.
Lekh gives us a message about the importance of moving ahead, no matter how many setbacks you encounter. Amy Virk has a special appearance in the movie, he played the role of a mature man who wants Ronak to be the happiest and nothing else. This movie is a progressive step for the Punjabi industry and will redefine regional cinema.
