The standup comedian Munawar Faruqui has lifted the Bigg Boss 17 trophy. He was among the top 5 contestants and turned out to be the winner, leaving behind Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, and Arun Mahashetty. After coming out of the BB House, he thanked the audience for showering oodles of love and gave special thanks to the host of the show, Salman Khan by calling him Bade Bhai.
Fan’s favorite Munawar remained in the spotlight during his BB journey for his shayris and his relationship status. He went through mental trauma when the wild card contestant Ayesha Khan imposed on him the allegation of double-dating. But he never gave up, apologized to the whole nation, and eventually won the show. Apart from the trophy, he got the handsome prize money of Rs. 50 lakh and a Hyundai Creta Car.

The victory of Munawar Faruqui will remain close to his heart because the winning day coincided with his birthday. In an interview with Times Now, he said, “Isse badiya birthday nahi ho sakta.” He celebrated his special day by cutting the cake with the former season winner, MC Stan, and expressed joy by thanking the netizens for all their love and support.
