Recently, the gorgeous sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor graced the couches of Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee with Karan Season 8. From hilarious anecdotes to the sudden demise of mother Sri Devi, lovely sisters spilled the beans on numerous phases of their lives.
In 2018, India lost the legendary actress Sri Devi who was married to the renowned producer Boney Kapoor. On Koffee with Karan, the Kapoor sisters revealed for the very first time how they dealt with the biggest loss. The younger one, Khushi Kapoor disclosed that she was the first of both sisters who got to know about Mother Sri Devi’s death; she didn’t cry because she felt she had to hold it together for everyone.

Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor Reveals How They Dealt with Mother Sri Devi’s Death?
Talking about Mother Sridevi’s death, Khushi Kapoor stated, “I think it took me a while when it happened to kind of accept it. I think it did suddenly hit me after a while. But I was a bit confused, I don’t know. But I had Jahnvi and I had Dad. So, they were just kind of there to help.”
Then, Janhvi Kapoor added, “The thing that I remember when I got the call, I was in my room. And I could hear wailing from Khushi’s room. And I think I barged into her room howling and crying. But what I do remember, Karan, is she looked at me. The minute she looked at me, she just stopped crying. She just stopped. She just sat next to me and started comforting me and I’ve never seen her cry about it ever since.”
Concluding the horrible moment, Khushi Kapoor said, “I think I felt that I had to hold it together for everyone because I feel I’ve always been the strong one.”
