Director and Actor Gurmeet Singh is back with another amazing movie Phone Bhoot. Gurmeet Singh is famously known for Mirzapur which was a blockbuster web series. Just like Mirzapur, Phone Bhoot received good ratings from IMDb.
The movie is a supernatural comedy movie produced under the banner of excel entertainment. The company was founded by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. So, if you liked movies like Roohi , Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Stree then you will love this movie too.
Storyline of The Movie “Phone Bhoot” The story revolves around 2 guys Major and Gullu who plan to become exorcists in order to earn some money. Both of them pray to a statue known as “Raka” so that he can help them to overcome their poverty. On a very unfortunate day they decide to host a halloween party but during the party, Raka’s eyes get shut and in order to bring him back they attach a live wire to him.
But things mess up and both of them fall on the ground. After they go into their unconscious state they meet a beautiful ghost “Ragini” who promises them that she will help them in every aspect but asks them to return the favour in future. Major and Gullu start performing Salvation and in return they earn some money. One day, both the boys regain consciousness and plan to start their venture “Phone Bhoot.”
The business gets fame and an evil tantrik plans to destroy the business. He tries to harm Major- Gullu and finds out that Ragini, a ghost, is protecting them. Later on, he finds out that Ragini is wife Raja Dushyant Singh and they both get killed in a car accident. Well the car accident was planned by evil tantrik “Aatmaram” only to snatch away Raja’s reign.
Aatmaram plans to capture Ragini in a bottle on the night of the lunar eclipse. Furthermore, Major and Gullu feel that Ragini used them for her own benefit. After some time, a ghost appears in front of them and tells them that Ragini is in trouble. Soon, they go to Aatmaram’s place and end up saving Ragini and Dushyant from evil Aatmaram.
