Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela – The Storyline The movie revolves around two individuals whose families are clans in a Gujarati town; Rajadi and Saneda. Both of them have been actual rivals for more than 500 years.
On Holi, Ram (Ranveer Singh), recently seen in Jayesh Bhai Jordar , who is from the Rajadi family, enters the Saneda grounds and meets Leela (Deepika Padukon), recently seen in Gehraiyaan and will be seen in Pathan , who is from Saneda. They see each other, play Holi together, and dance while also falling in love. They start to meet in private as they are aware of what will happen if anyone, even someone from the town, sees two opposing family members falling in love.
Regardless of all this, Ram and Leela decide to stay together and fight their families for their love. However, no matter how much they plead, their families won’t agree to it so they decide to elope and get married, believing that once they are married, no one would be able to separate them.
They do get successful in eloping and getting married, but their families find them and take them both away. After a while, they accept their fates that they will never be together in this world. Hence they decide to kill each other in the hope that in some other world, they’ll be together.
