Mithran, the director of the film, revealed the first look of Sardar along with the caption – ‘Get ready for #SardarDeepavali!’

Sardar OTT Release Date After acquiring the digital streaming rights to the Sardar movie, Aha Video took to Twitter to share the news with the audience, along with Karthi’s makeup transformation for Sardar’s look. The digital premiere of the Sardar OTT movie was made available for streaming on November 18, 2022.
Sardar OTT release date was announced just a month after its theatrical release by Aha Videos in a press release.
Sardar Cast The cast of Sardar features Karthi in a dual role; the actor is known for his roles in hit movies like Ponniyin Selvan: I and part II , Kaithi , and Vikram . Sardar Plot The premise of the Sardar movie revolves around inspector Vijay Prakash (portrayed by Karthi), who is determined to restore his family’s tarnished reputation caused by his father, Chandra Bose, a former RAW spy branded as a national traitor 32 years ago, which resulted in his entire extended family committing suicide out of shame.
Things take an unexpected turn when a social activist, Sameera Thomas (Played by Laila), puts a petition to the court against One India, One Pipeline, a project operated by a private water packaging company owned by former NSA officer Maharaj Rathore (played by Chunky Panday).
However, the court refuses to accept her petition, and Sameera starts a protest at Rajaji Bhavan, where Vijay discovers that a highly classified file has been stolen and later comes to the conclusion that Sameera has stolen the file. In the later sequence, police find Sameera’s body and deduce that she had committed suicide; however, Vijay suspects foul play.
As the narrative progresses, the investigation leads him to a mysterious figure known as Sardar, who holds crucial information about a sinister plot to control India’s water supply. Will Vijay be able to connect the dots and find out the identity of this mysterious figure, Sardar?
As the past is revealed through flashbacks, a gripping narrative of espionage, betrayal, and family secrets unfolds.
