Vadh means murder staying true to its name. It is a realistic story of a retired school teacher murdering a cop! A talented cast, along with a gripping story, makes for a perfect watch, and the director-writer duo of Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajeev Barnwal ensures that you smile, feel disgusted, and pity throughout different stages in the movie.
The Storyline of The Movie ‘Vadh’ Shambhunath Mishra and his wife Manju Mishra are living their life mouth to foot, barely being able to meet ends. They have a huge loan to repay to the bank and a ruthless local money lender Prajapati Pandey. Shambhunath and Manju took this loan to send their son to the USA for higher studies. However, their son is extremely ungrateful and doesn’t care about his parents.
Shambhunath tries to meet ends with his pension, which gets exhausted in Banks installments and the meager income he generates from taking tuition classes. Among everything that might seem gloomy in their life, Shambhunath and Manju do have a ray of sunshine in their life, Naina, a happy and bubbly girl who comes to their home for tuition.
Shambhunath and Manju’s life is totally disrupted when Prajapati suddenly decides to sell their house and asks them to vacate it.
While doing so, Prajapati’s eyes land on Naina, and he gives a disgusting option to Shambhunath! To fetch Naina for him for an hour, and he will leave the couple alone. This truly was a breaking point for Shambhunath; he attacked Prajapati with a screwdriver and killed him.

Unaware of the reason that forced Shambhunath to take such a drastic step, Manju is horrified and disgusted by him. However, she cooperates during the investigations. When Prajapati’s wife and daughter come to their doorstep seeking any information they might have of her husband, Shambhnath gets into extreme guilt.
The next day, he goes to the police station to confess, and in the absence of Shakti Singh, he narrates the entire story to a constable who dismisses it as a film plot. Manju begins to support her husband wholeheartedly when she learns of the reason for the murder.
The later part of the movie is all about how the couple manages to come out clean of this mess in the eyes of the police. After the storm that disrupted their lives ends, Manju and Shambhunath decide to give their house to Naina and her family, who live in a dilapidated house.
