Get the full dose of comedy and action in a single movie; watch Chandni Chowk to China only on Amazon prime.
We all love Akshay Kumar for his action and comedy movies, and he is one of the most consistent actors in Bollywood. But the current year was not good for Khiladi Kumar because most of his movies, Bachchan Pandey , Ram Setu , Samrat Prithviraj , and more, are flopping at the box office.
His last hit movies were Suryavanshi and Kesari . However, it is only a phase; here, we will talk about the 2009 movie Chandni Chowk To China. This Akshay Kumar movie is about a vegetable cutter from the streets of Chandni Chowk who is pranked into believing that he is the reincarnation of a Chinese Revolutionary.
Follow him on his journey to China with a potato as his best companion and watch as Sidhu (Akshay Kumar) faces and even causes troubles even though he has no solutions.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Chandni Chowk to China’
Sidhu (Akshay Kumar) is your typical local guy who believes in miracles more than anything. He has never failed to approach a fortune teller, and his father is seen reprimanding him for the same.
Sidhu is viewed as someone who is easily swayed by others’ opinions, which then results in him getting taken advantage of. And when two strangers approached him claiming that he was a supposed reincarnation of a dead Chinese revolutionary, it is no shocker that with a bit of encouragement from his friends, he believed it wholeheartedly.
He considers it to the point that we see him on a plane to China, all the while being unaware of the true motive of this trip, which is to kill Hojo (Gordon Liu), and when he does realize this, it has already been too late. The movie then revolves around Sidhu meeting Sakhi (Deepika Padukone), who has come to china to look for her father and sister.
But the story is turned upside down when these two join hands to solve the mystery surrounding Hojo and his gang. After being nearly killed by Hojo, Sidhu trains hard so that he can take revenge for his father’s death, who was also killed at Hojo’s hands, so at the end of the movie, the final battle begins.
