At Dunki’s promotional event in Dubai, Shahrukh Khan called Vicky Kaushal one of the finest actors and Rajkumar Hirani the best director in the country.
The comedy-drama film Dunki marks the first collaboration of
King Khan of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan , and the Sam Bahadur actor, Vicky Kaushal. They will share the screen for the very first time in this upcoming movie, which will hit theaters on December 21, 2023. Although Vicky Kaushal’s role is billed as a special appearance, it was revealed that his role is extremely crucial to the film.
Recently, the Dunki team, along with director Rajkumar Hirani, visited Dubai for movie promotion. SRK left everyone in awe with his electrifying performance on the stage and shared his experience while shooting for Dunki. Additionally, he praised his co-star Vicky Kaushal, and the movie director, Rajkumar Hirani.

What did Shahrukh Khan say to Vicky Kaushal While Promoting Dunki in Dubai? Currently, SRK is busy with the promotion of his much-awaited film, Dunki. On 17 December 2023, SRK visited Dubai, and the iconic trailer of Dunki was showcased on the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. The King of Romance made everyone head over heels for himself with his mesmerizing performance and completely lit the stage. From his signature step to grooving to Dunki’s song, he did everything magically.
Talking about his co-stars, the Pathaan actor applauded Vicky’s role in the film and said, “Vicky is a great friend. I personally feel he is one of the finest actors I have worked with. When you watch him in Dunki, you will feel a lot of love for him. He has done really, really well, and I got to learn from him, actually.”
About director Rajkumar Hirani, SRK said, “The best director in the country, we all respect and love him and we need to give the love back because we give so much to cinemas.”

Director Rajkumar Hirani Revealed, He Specially Wrote a Role for Vicky Kaushal In an interview, the well-known director and producer, Rajkumar Hirani, who has made superhit films like 3 Idiots , PK , and Sanju , revealed that he told Vicky’s father that he wrote a high-powered role for Vicky in Dunki but wouldn’t offer him as it was the lead role. But on the same evening, he got a call from Vicky, and the actor said, “I’m willing to play any role in your film.
