The Storyline of the Movie ‘Gatta Kusthi’ Keerthi is a kushti player and the best one at it. But her family opposes her desire to play professionally. Her father asks her to focus on family life, and her grandmother tells her to wrestle at home. While her parents are searching for a groom to marry her, most of the families run away after seeing her biceps and intelligence.
As expected, Keerthi is asked to dim herself and cover up her biceps. Worse comes to worst, and Veera, a misogynist of sorts, comes to meet her family as a prospective groom.
Veera(Vishnu Vishal seen in Ratsasan ) has a chucklesome list of standards for his future wife to meet, some of which include that she should have hair that reaches the back of her knee and that she should be illiterate! As a result, Keerthi(Aishwarya Lekshmi also appeared in Kumari , Gargi , Godse ) is asked to don a wig and hide the fact that she is literate.
Keerthi and Veera are getting married!! How will Veera react when he finds out that the girl that he has married is totally opposite of his ideal wife? Has Keerthy bid forever adieu to her love for wrestling? Will she let her talent go to waste or fight for herself?
