Naane Varuven Plot The plot of Naane Varuven revolves around a complex and multilayered storyline. Dhanush plays the dual role of twin brothers, Kathir and Prabhu, who are poles apart from each other. On the one hand, Prabhu is a good-natured man who lives a smooth life with his wife and their daughter, Satya; on the other hand, Kathir is a mentally disturbed individual who comes across as a sociopath.
The happy family of Prabhu starts to take a turn for the worse when his daughter, Satya, starts to have visions of a young boy in her dreams. Prabhu notices Satya talking to an imaginary figure, and after consulting with a psychiatrist, he learns that she is being tormented by the spirit of a young boy named Sonu.
In a desperate attempt to save his daughter from the clutches of a spirit, he asks a team of young Ghostbusters to help him. Furthermore, it is then revealed that the spirit belongs to the son of Kathir, Parbhu’s twin brother who was abandoned by his mother due to his violent tendencies.
