Phantom – an action movie showcasing the revenge for the 26/11 attacks starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif
Based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mumbai Avengers on the aftermath of 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Phantom was released on 28th august 2015. Starring Saif Ali Khan, who also played an agent in Agent Vinod , and Katrina Kaif, who has played similar roles in Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai , the action thriller was directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor.
The screenplay and story were written by Kabir Khan and Parveez Shaikh. Phantom also features actors like Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, and Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub and Rajesh Tailang as the supporting cast.
The Storyline of the Movie “Phantom” RAW chief Roy(sabhyasachi) is planning a secret mission with his men to take down the people behind the attacks in Mumbai.
Daniyal Khan (Saif Ali Khan) is an ex-army officer who was court-martialled and has been called back because he is unknown to many, and nobody has seen him. Daniyal, along with Nawaz Mistry (Katrina Kaif), seeks out a mission to wreak vengeance and avenge the masterminds behind the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.
Daniyal agrees to lead the mission as he wants to gain the respect of his father and his mentor back by getting reinstated at the same post as he was in.
The story revolves around these two actors and the planning and plotting behind the murder of the masterminds of the 26/11 attacks.
