Tridha Choudhury is an Indian actress and model who began her career in 2013. Since then, Trisha has worked hard to reach where she has reached in her career. She is a perfect combination of beauty and talent.
Born and brought up in Kolkata, Tridha Choudhury works mainly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. Tridha grew up in a middle-class family and was studying hard to make a career as a microbiologist. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Scottish Church College. But fate had other plans for her and Tridha found her calling in acting and modelling. And look where she is now, Tridha is one of the most gorgeous and talented actresses in the younger lot today.
Though you may know her from Bandish Bandits , Tridha’s modelling career kickstarted way back in 2011 when she was crowned as Clean & Clear Calcutta Times Fresh Face 2011. She came into the limelight with her amazing portrayal of an innocent and ambitious woman, Swadheenta, in the 2016 Star Plus television serial, ‘Dahlee’. Tridha talked about her journey and the success she has achieved in such a short span, during a promotional event of the Aashram web series , she said,
“Not many people have achieved to this point in such a short span of time. I am very grateful for that. I would say that the actresses of my age group are getting good work due to the OTT platform. Also now be it TV, cinema or OTT, overall media has become one and that has worked in my favour in a big way.”
Other than Dahleez, Ashram Season 2 has been another turning point in her career. Tridha has time and again mentioned that Dahleez and Aashram have changed things for her immensely and getting a web series like Aashram at this point of her career has worked favourably for the future prospects of her career. Over the years, Tridha Choudhury has been a part of twenty movies and web series.
Tridha became a favourite of audiences and filmmakers because of her talent, superior acting skills, and the ease with which she performs intimate scenes on screen. Even today many actresses are apprehensive of intimate scenes on screen which sets Tridha apart from the rest, she pulls off any scene effortlessly with immense confidence.
