Most loved horror comedies Stree and Bhediya to get a sequel soon. Bhediya 2 and Stree 2 have been confirmed at a grand event organized by Jio Studios.
At an event organized by Jio Studios in Mumbai, it was confirmed that Bhediya will release its sequel Bhediya 2 , in 2025.
Bhediya is India’s very first creature comedy and was released on November 25, 2022.
One of the best dancers of Bollywood Varun Dhawan, and a strong contender of top beautiful actresses of Bollywood Kriti Sanon starrer movie did not perform as expected at the box office but the project was not a loss either. Everyone praised Varun’s character as a shape-shifting creature and how well it was portrayed on screen.
Along with the announcement of Bhediya 2, came another surprise sequel, that is Stree 2. Both statements were made in a rather entertaining manner. For Bhediya 2 Varun Dhawan performed a rap song from Bhediya on stage. When the song ended, a logo poster was revealed in the background for Bhediya 2. Everyone cheered as Varun howled in his character mode to express the excitement.

Soon after the announcement of Bhediya 2 came another surprise gift for the fans, which was the sequel announcement of the blockbuster horror comedy Stree .
Shraddha Kapoor (Tu Jhooti Main Makkar Bheed Stree 2 will be released in 2024 . The team performed an entertaining skit on the stage to reveal the news. Shooting for the much-awaited Stree 2 has already commenced in March this year.
With both announcements, this looks like the season of Bollywood’s sequel movies. Both movies are directed by Amar Kaushik and are part of Jio Studio’s horror comedy world. Speculations are that both the plots have some connections and that the story will unfold in an exciting way when the sequels are released.
Another addition to Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy universe is said to be a vampire story, apparently starring Ayushman Khurana (last seen in An Action Hero Bala .
