The Psychological action thriller movie ‘Cobra’ was officially announced in May 2019 but due to Covid-19, its shooting was halted many times which delayed its theatrical release. It took almost three years to complete the shooting of this movie because of the pandemic and huge restrictions on traveling and shooting.
After crossing all these hurdles, it hit the theatres on 31 August 2022 and turned out to be a box-office bomb. It stars the renowned South Indian actor Vikram and the KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2 fame, Srinidhi Shetty who is expected to appear in the most awaited movie KGF 3.

The Storyline of the Movie “Cobra” The basic premise of this movie revolves around Kathir aka Cobra and his twin brother Mathiazhagan ‘Mathi.’ The movie starts with the murder investigation of the Chief Minister of Odisha, the Prince of Scotland, and the Mayor of France which is led by a Turkish Interpol officer, Aslan Yilmaz, and a young Tamil criminologist Judith Samson.
During the investigation, they learn that the renowned personalities of the world are killed by the sharp-minded Cobra who uses mathematical skills to formulate plans for assassination. Meanwhile, Cobra gets his next assignment to assassinate Russia’s defense minister, Dmitri Yugolsav through sudoku placed inside a newspaper by his mentor Nellaiappan. Despite tight security, he assassinates the Russian minister and runs away from there successfully without being caught.
Who will be the next target of Cobra? Will the police be able to catch Cobra? And what’s the real motive of Cobra behind all these serious killings? The rest of the movie gives answers to all these questions.
