The Storyline of the Web Series Dancing on the Grave The Dancing on the Grave series is about the Shakereh Khaleeli Murder case who was an Indian real estate agent and philanthropist. She was the granddaughter of Sir Mirza Ismail, Diwan of the Mysore Royal Family.
It happened around three decades ago in 1991 when a member of one of India’s most influential families went missing and shook the entire nation.
This four-episode of Dancing on the Grave on Prime is a crime documentary that follows the life of Shakeereh Khaleeli who was the wife of one of the highly placed diplomats of India and a mother of four girls. After a while, she divorced her husband and married another man named Murali Manohar who was accused of having buried her alive in a wooden box in her home’s courtyard only. He is now serving a life sentence.
After three years, when one of her daughters reported her mother missing, her skeleton was discovered by Karnataka police.
