Don is a 2006 Action thriller directed by Farhan Akhtar, based on the successful former classic of the same name, featuring the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. This contemporary and rather stylishly crafted DON features the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan , in a double role alongside Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, and Om Puri, among others.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Don 1 (SRK)’ Shah Rukh Khan’s DON 1 is a story of a drug dealer ‘DON’ who believes that no one can capture him, hence, “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai” is his most famous dialogue.
Don works under Vardhan, who isn’t seen by anyone, and there aren’t any pictures of him in the public domain. However, Don is the most dangerous and cunning of them all; hence capturing him became the most important priority of the police department.
DCP D’Silva and CBI Officer Vishal Malik get on a mission to capture Don. They first employ Kamini (Kareena Kapoor) to get close to Don and get vital information. Kamini, whose boyfriend Ramesh was killed by Don, changes her name to Sonia in front of Don. However, as expected, Don ends up killing Kamini.
In a police encounter, DCP D’SIlva manages to capture Don and keep him captive at a secret location. Meanwhile, he tracks down Vijay, who is the spitting image of Don.
He trains Vijay to take down Don’s gang in his absence. Vijay was successful to some extent, but fate played its role, and D’Silva, the only person who was aware of Vijay’s reality, gets killed.
Unaware of the truth, the police are after Vijay. Vijay gets acquainted with Roma, Ramesh’s sister, and Jasjit, whose son was taken care of by Vijay during his imprisonment.
Towards the end, it is disclosed that D’Silva wasn’t dead and it was all part of his plan, and DCP D’Silva was actually Vardhan, the man under whom Don was working!!
