Dunki Day 1 box office collection is expected to be between 30-32 crores, failing to surpass the opening collection of Gadar 2.
Helmed by the director, Rajkumar Hirani who completed 20 years in the film industry recently, Dunki has been released in theatres. This film marks the first collaboration between Hirani and Shahrukh Khan and the third film of SRK that hit the big screen in 2023. The King Khan of Bollywood left everyone’s mouth open with his impeccable performance in Pathaan and Jawan ; both films ruled the box office and set new records.
But this time, it seems like SRK has failed to fulfill the expectations of the fans as Dunki’s advance booking collection is too less than SRK’s previous ventures (Jawan and Pathaan). Dunki became successful in grossing only 15 crores by selling 558766 tickets in India and failed to cross even the Gadar 2 advance booking collection which grossed over 17 crores for opening day in India.

Dunki Box Office Collection Day 1 Report: Didn’t Make It To the Expectations of Fans Dunki movie’s first review is out and it is quite agonizing. It seems like Dunki couldn’t perform well at the box office after getting lots of negative reviews.
As per the Sacnilk Entertainment reports, Dunki could gross only 30-32 crores on the opening day which is too low compared to other highest-grossing Indian movies of 2023 including Jawan, Pathan, Tiger 3 , Gadar 2, and Animal .

Reportedly, Dunki had an overall occupancy of 26.45% in theatres during the morning shows and reduced to 21.77% in the afternoon shows.
