Simply put, Sajid Khan’s Housefull is full of disorder, confusion, and madness, along with some moments that will make you laugh.

Housefull, with a multi-star cast of Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh (won IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his remarkable performance in Ek Villain), Lara Dutta, Arjun Rampal, and Boman Irani, lacks logical reasoning, but more than compensates for it with humor, songs, and talented actors who seemed to have as much fun filming the movie as the audience did while watching it.

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Housefull’

Housefull follows the story of Aarush, who is as unlucky in life as it gets, with no cap. His background song in the movie is ‘He’s such a loser.’ Nothing goes right for him, and everything gets ruined at the last moment.

Convinced by the fact that only finding the love of his life can break the jinx of bad luck in his life, he makes various desperate attempts to find love with the help of his friend Bob and his wife, Hetal.

Finally, Aarush marries Devika, the only daughter of a wealthy businessman, but she elopes with her lover during their honeymoon, leaving a miserable and heartbroken Aarush behind.

Hopeless about any shot at a better life, Aarush goes on to commit suicide by drowning in the sea. But Sandy, a beautiful girl, comes to his rescue. Initially, she thinks he is a pervert as he tried to kiss her while she is trying to save his life by giving him mouth-to-mouth.

She later has a change of heart when Pasta, owner of the resort they are staying in, tells her that Aarush is a widower; unbeknownst to her, he was ‘just joking’. However, she later discovers the truth and decides to leave Aarush and doesn’t even let him enter her room.

Aarush tries to enter her room by climbing the balcony, but Pasta thinks that Aarush is committing suicide and decides to broadcast it live to boost up the customer footfall at his resort. Sandy watches this on the TV and forgives Aarush.

The movie moves forward with the introduction of two prime characters, Major Krishna Rao, Sandy’s brother, and Batuk Patel, Hetal’s father.

For Sandy and Aarush to get married, it is imperative that they convince Krishna, who hates liars, but Sandy convinces Aarush to lie continuously to her brother by saying that ‘jis jhooth se kisi ka ghar basta hai wo jhooth, jhooth nahi hota’.

On the other hand, Hetal lies to Batuk that Bob is very well set in his career, and they have a child together to reunite with her father.

Sajid Khan takes the mayhem to another level when the four of them rent a mansion and invite Bathuk and Krishna Rao separately to turn the lies into truth in their eyes!
