The Storyline of the Movie Ajmer 92 The movie opens up in the small town of Ajmer where a local newspaper named Navbharat, publishes nude images along with the story that reveals the sordid scandal among the people of Ajmer. The scandal involves hundreds of girls, some from college, while some of them are still in school. They are blackmailed and sexually abused by a group of young men led by Farooq and Nafis Chishty.
Farooq Chishti is the president of the Ajmer Youth Congress while two other accused, Nafis Chishti and Anwar Chishti are the vice-president. It all started when Farooq faked love with a girl from Sophia Senior Secondary School and then raped her. He took her objectionable pictures and then blackmailed her to bring more girls to him.
Later, they did the same with other girls and it became an unstoppable scandal until it came to light after a journalist, Santosh Gupta, published a report in a local daily, ‘Dainik Navjyoti’, in April 1992.
