The storyline of Web Series Kaala Paani The series takes us to the year 2027. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Soudamini Singh (Mona Singh), a hard-working and straightforward woman working in the landscape of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has her own ways of working and accomplishing things. She keeps the health of her patients at the top of her priority list, even though she has to go out of her way to maintain their health and well-being.
Soudamini encounters an unknown disease, which is not only deadly but equally confusing. She takes responsibility for finding out its origin and curing it. During her research, she learned that this disease is not a common ailment but can erupt into a pandemic if not stopped.
But the other authorities are busy organizing a ‘Swaraj Mahotsav’ to attract tourists to the land. During all this, the bacterial outbreak (named ‘LHF-27’) spreads across the island, and everyone is trapped on the island. Then, we see different people struggling to survive in lockdown, and what happens next is a mystery that can only be unveiled by watching the web series Kaala Paani on Netflix.
