The Storyline of the Movie Jagame Thandhiram The basic premise of the movie Jagame Thandhiram revolves around a gangster named Suruli Thevar played by Dhanush. He runs a parotta restaurant in Madurai and wants to get married but he is unable to find a girl because everybody knows about his criminal background.
One day, he meets an English man named John, who takes him near his master Peter Sprott, a white supremacist don. Peter offers Suruli a huge amount of money to work with him against the rival Don Sivadoss who has a major influence on London’s Tamil-speaking people. He accepts the offer and leaves for London.
In London, Suruli is kidnaped by Sivadoss’s gang members because they consider him the killer of Sivadoss’s right-hand man named Rajan. There Sivadoss negotiates with Suruli and makes a plan to kill Peter in the ‘peace talk.’ But Suruli betrays Sivadoss and hands over an aruval to Peter that he uses to kill Sivadoss. For this loyalty, Suruli is given a designated area in London by Peter to start his business.
Everything seems to be perfect until the Sri Lankan Tamil singer named Attila comes into his life and he falls for her. She introduces herself as a widow and the mother of a seven-year-old boy but the reality is something else. After meeting her, Suruli gets to know the hidden truth about Sivadoss and realizes his mistake.
