The Storyline of The Movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ The movie opens with the clock striking 12, and an eight-year-old girl, Anjali, rushes to a room full of presents, but she isn’t interested in any of them; her interest lies in only one envelope. That envelope contains a letter from her dead mother, Tina, that she wrote before her departure. As she begins to read, Tina starts narrating to her the story of three college friends, Anjali, Rahul, and Tina.
Rahul and Anjali are best of friends who do everything together, and needless to say, they fight a lot with each other, but the moment any third person tries to interface between them, they unite; such is their bond! Then enters Tina, a very attractive new student who is also the principal’s daughter.
It doesn’t take long for the three of them to get together and become close friends. Around the same time, Anjali starts to develop feelings for Rahul.
However, soon Anjali starts to notice that Rahul and Tina are getting closer! Anjali dismisses this thought, but when at their college fest, Rahul was busy dancing with Tina and doesn’t care about Anjali’s whereabouts, she was heartbroken.
In an unsuccessful attempt to make Rahul fall in love with her, Anjali starts to dress up like Tina which leads to everyone making fun of her, including Rahul. Days go by, and Anjali finally gathers some courage to let Rahul know of her feelings, but before she can say anything, Rahul tells her that he loves Tina.
Heartbroken, Anjali decides to leave college mid-term, leaving behind Rahul and Tina never to look back!
After reading the letter, Anjali, Tina, and Rahul’s daughter took a vow to fulfill her mother’s last wish and unite her father with his old buddy Anjali! She joins a summer camp organized by Anjali.
Despite her father’s disapproval, she leaves in the middle of the night with her dadi, knowing very well that Rahul will follow them there. However, when they reach there, they get to know that Anjali is already engaged to Aman.
Will Anjali be able to fulfill her mother’s last wish? What will happen when Rahul and Anjali come face to face after all those years? Will Anjali choose her present, that is, Aman, or her past, that is, Rahul? These questions will be answered in the movie, and to know where you can watch the movie read further.
